Our Story on How We Started

Kilimania Adventures is a premier adventure tours company based in Moshi Kilimanjaro that specializes in organising complete adventure travel package in Tanzania. From expeditions to Mount Kilimanjaro to tailor-made Safaris to some of Tanzania’s best wildlife parks, to beach vacations in Zanzibar, we offer a one-of-a-kind, life-changing experience for adventurers and thrill seekers.

Kilimania Adventure was found by Sabinus Salvatory (Saby), director and mountain guide. He has worked as a tour leader and mountain guide for most of his career and, as a business owner with other local guides, we have passionate about helping climber achieve their ambitions. Saby was born and raised on the slope of mountain Kilimanjaro has a lifetime of experience in adventure activities. We combine our passions with compassion, we give back and we take risks. We are strong-willed and light-hearted. We come from all corners and different walks of life, but we have a shared sense of adventure and desire to explore our beautiful world. We know that together we can do more than climb mountains…we can move them. We are Kilimania High on Adventure and we walk with you.

MEET THE TEAM

Kilimania Adventure Guides, Porters & Staff All of our Kilimanjaro treks and safaris are fully supported, supervised and led by certified local guides. While on the mountain our staff will do nearly everything for you from taking down and setting up camp, preparing meals, boiling water and carrying all of the group’s equipment as well as some of your personal gear. You will have the services of a lead guide, assistant guides, porters and a cook.

It’s important to us that our guides and porters are well cared for. Our climbs there will be 3 staff members per client on a trip. This high ratio of staff-to-clients ensures that you will be well cared for.

Porter Wellbeing & Fair Wages Kilimania Adventure we working us porter, cook, and guide before and up to now we still guiding so for all challenged we face in working environments then now works directly with the best locally trained and registered guides who are guaranteed a fair salary and equipped with sufficient gear, clothing, food and supplies to effectively complete the trek. We comply with all established guidelines for each porter’s wellbeing and fair wages.

We also make sure not to overload them with luggage, that there are enough porters for the whole journey, and allow for adequate rest and medical care as needed. Our commitment to ethical treatment and wages sets us apart from other expedition companies.
