Welcome to Tanzania to this amazing group of ladies - Beth, Jeannie, Brenda, Rita, Teresa & Denise ❤️

Along with our wonderful Guide Subira (one of the top female guides in Tanzania)… this is truly an incredible girls group ✨

We’re so excited and blessed to have these ladies on safari with us and to have our beautiful Subira lead them.

Starting out with a local town tour, a stay at Nairobis Giraffe Manor, a safari on foot alongside an armed ranger & crystal clear views of Kilimanjaro…. Yesterday we explored Tarangire! The land of giants - home to some of Africas highest Elephant populations.

And today we head in to the legendary Serengeti for 4 nights of wild wonder 🐆✨

Sarah is here celebrating a special birthday with two beautiful friends and so far they’re having so much fun!!

We took this picture on the ride from the airport to their first nights hotel…. That’s our safari boy Arlo in the back with them!!

He gave them so much information about Tanzania and the animals, these beautiful ladies were so impressed they even gave him a $20 tip!

Needless to say, he was absolutely thrilled!!

Veen, Bob & Chloe have been here on safari with us in Tanzania for the past week and it’s been such a beautiful adventure ❤️

Celebrating their 10 year wedding anniversary and bringing their 8 year old daughter along for the ride, they have proved that a safari in Tanzania is an absolutely magical adventure to share with your children.

There were tears at the airport today as they said farewell to our wonderful guide Eric but big smiles upon landing in Zanzibar and taking in those spectacular Indian Ocean Views this afternoon 🏝️🎉✨

We have so many wonderful families travel with us and it’s always really special.

When is the best time to safari in Tanzania?

We get asked this question a lot…..

Wildlife viewing is in Tanzania is amazing year round 🤩

We have our long rains in April and May so anytime from Jan - end of March or June - December is beautiful.

Jan - End of March is our hottest season typically so great for those who love the hotter temperatures ☀️ June - September is a little more mild.

The big five can be spotted the whole year through and the Great Migration of Serengeti can be witnessed from June - September 🐘✨

And the calving season of the Serengeti Migration can also be experienced in February! Such. Gorgeous time with all the little baby animals being born. It’s also the greatest gathering of big cats anywhere in Africa at any one time.

Enter the land of Giants 🐘✨

We followed up Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater with our last safari day in Tarangire National park. Home to some of Africas highest Elephant populations.

And we stopped to meet with a traditional Maasai Community on the way and learnt about their ancient traditions.

This morning we waved off the Espinosa Family at Arusha Airport for their flight to Africas most beautiful paradise island and we’ve organised for them the most sparkling all-inclusive beach stay for the next few nights 🏝️ ✨

We waved farewell to the Cannon Family from Texas this morning 👋 ✨

Following a beautiful week in the Tanzanian bush!!

One last adventure today as we provided them a mini town tour of Arusha taking in things such as the local food market, Maasai Market and the centre point of Africa, directly half way between Cape Town & Cairo, as well as tasting some local Tanzanian Cuisine 😋

Thanks so much to this beautiful family for putting their trust in our little family run safari outfit.

Such a beautiful family photo ☺️

A safari form the sky ✨

Our wonderful safari guests - Cheryl, Todd and their 3 children William, Cate & Matthew are here on safari with us right now.

This morning was a 4:30am start to get them to the launch site for their hot air balloon safari over Serengeti National Park 🎈🐘 ✨

The balloons here in Tanzania require you to lay on your side inside the basket as the hot air is fired in to fill it up. It gently lifts off the ground at sunrise enabling gusts to witness Africa’s Greatest Wilderness in the most beautifully golden morning light 🌅

The balloon safari is followed by a champagne toast and wild and wonderful bush breakfast.

We journeyed through the Great Eift Valley to reach Tarangire National Park. Stopping off to meet with a traditional Maasai Community on the way.

🌟 It’s taken a lot of hard work and dedication to get where we are today 🌟

I moved from England to Tanzania with Just $500 and a dream 💭

For a really long time me and Khalfani lived in a little room the size of a box with a bathroom attached 🏡

Our clothes all neatly stored In a suitcase and duffle bag on the floor 🧳

For 2 years we didn’t have a bed, we slept like hopeful angels under our mosquito net on a foam mattress on the floor 🛌

We borrowed food from the shops and paid them back when we could 🙏🏽

Even when we were expecting our little baby boy Arlo, we didn’t have a single coin in the world and collected Rain water to boil and drink 🌨

We took showers using a bucket of water and a jug for more than two years 😱

We kept our food in a corner of the bedroom since we had no kitchen or fridge and cooked on a tiny camping stove ☕️

For medial reasons I travelled to the U.K. to deliver our beautiful baby boy and since we we didn’t have enough money for Khalfani’s visitor visa to the U.K. to be granted, I had to give birth without him and spend the first two months of our little babies life without him. The day that we were finally reunited as a family at Kilimanjaro Airport after 14 weeks apart was everything ❤️

We worked, we prayed and we continued to love eachother and to work hard and we can honestly say that every second was worth it ❤️

We put everything we had in to building our little family safari company and we still do and we couldn’t be happier that we never gave up!! 🥰

Thank you so much to everyone who chooses to book small and to take a chance on us, we can’t tell you what it means and we love you all 🐘✨

All of this to now be named Safari Tour Operator of the Year 2024…. What a dream come true 🙏🏾🫶

This is a picture of me cooking dinner on my little camping stove in my one room which was my living room, kitchen and bedroom combined, just a few days after arriving in Tanzania back when it all started 😂
