3 APPS WE NEVER LEAVE HOME WITHOUT

Traveling internationally can be challenging at times, but
fortunately there are some great tools out there to make
it easier! Here are four apps that we never travel without!

Google Maps - While most people are familiar with this
app, many people do not know that you can download
your destination city or country to your phone so that you
can use it while you are offline. It's public transportation
features are also a lifesaver when in a city and trying to
navigate the various trains and buses. We also love the
'near me" feature to find everything from hotels to
restaurants to places to visit!

Google Translate - Again, this app allows you to
download a specific language to your phone, so you don't
need wifi or service to use it. The speech to translate
feature is a lifesaver if you are asking a local for
directions or trying to communicate with a waiter!

WhatsApp- This app allows you to call, video call and
text with international numbers for free. Many vendors use this app to reach them for reservations, etc.

In an often sedentary and indoor world, it can be hard to
create the healthy habit of being active and getting
utdoors.

One of the things we love about traveling as a
family (even if it's local "travel" adventures) is that it
almost always reinforces these healthy habits. We get
outside and we stay active! Then during our normal
weeks, it makes us more likely to seek that out, as well!
