According to the annals of "The Tale of Bygone Years", the three brothers Kyi, Schek and Khoryv, and their sister Lybed founded the city of Kyiv on the bank of the Dnieper River and named it after the eldest brother Kyi. These legendary figures are among the most mysterious characters of their times, the stories of which are almost entirely built on folklore and legends. During the evening cruise on the Rosa Victoria bateau sailing along the banks of Dnieper River in the Kyiv’s waterways, our guests have an opportunity to get acquainted with the famous monument dedicated to the three brothers and their sister and discover the story behind the legendary founders of the capital of Kyivan Rus – the city-hero of Kyiv.

The 2014 cruise season has started today with a journey on Fidelio luxury cruise vessel from Kyiv. In spite of cloudy weather and some rain during departure, which by the way is considered to be a good omen among the sailors, the tourists joyfully took photos on the pier and some even enjoyed an evening breeze while reading a book on the sun deck.
