Our 3.5 week online trip to Germany continues with a 2-day visit to medieval Nordlingen (starts today, Monday Oct 14). See you in the medieval town founded in the crater impact of a meteorite.

This town is similar to another medieval Bavarian town of Rothenburg.

Our Romania trip continues. We travelled from Bucharest airport to Siret, from Siret to Botoşani and today heading to Iasi from Botoşani. On the video are the views of Siret and Botoşani counties. That’s how north-eastern and Eastern Romania (former Moldavian kingdom) looks like 😊 See you in Iasi on Friday 😊😉

“My sister and I spend 4 days in Berlin( June 20-23) and hired Olga as our guide. We focused mostly on Jewish history. Olga designed a 4 day program for us. She was fantastic, incredibly knowledgeable,organized and very punctual. As it was a private tour we could make adjustments as needed and she was always flexible. She also organized a day trip to Potsdam which we loved. The Sanssouci Palace and grounds( a UNESCO World Heritage site) were amazing and the highlight for me was a visit to the Max Liebermann Villa in Wannsee and we also saw from the outside both the House of the Wannsee Conference and the Cecilienhof Palace where Truman,Stalin and Churchill met in the Summer of 1945 for the Potsdam Conference
We could never have done all this on our own.
Thanks for making our visit to Berlin very memorable.”

Hello Fellow Travellers!

Here comes the Day 2 of our June Tatra Mountain Trip. Yesterday we visited a small town of Rabka and explored it general and Jewish history. It’s not by any means a mountain resort or a highlanders’ village , Rabka is just a small 10.000 ppl town in the Kraków’s region in the direction of the mountains . Prior to WW2, it had a 1500 Jewish community. The tour recordings will be available.

Today we are heading to the Polish Mountain Capital - Zakopane. Besides getting a feel for the mountain Capital, we’ll uncover its WW2 history.

Zakopane Tour starts at 5.00pm Krakow time/11.00am US East Coast time/ 8.00am US West Coast time

Then, we’ll be back to Bialka to enjoy a beautiful (hopefully!) sunset and do a relaxing evening walk:)

A quick update from Odessa😊😉 Jane, our Odessa Walks guide, took a guest from Italy on a private city tour. An air raid siren went on only once during a 5hr tour. The historic quarter is as beautiful as before the war
