Some patriots in put flag on a monument which is a symbol of Russian Army glory. In 1709 Russian Army defeated Army near Poltava. That battle is known know as Poltava Battle. Later the monument of Golden was put in the center of Poltava as a reminder of that glorious victory. The yeallow banner that was also put on top of the monument says "Glory to Ukraine - Glory to the Heroes!"
