List of people lived in Ternopil Voivodeship and who sold their land in 1927 was recently discovered in the Ternopil State Archive.
These documents contain the following information:
- First Name Last Name
- Place of residence
- Age
- Religion
- Marital status
- The size of the plot that was sold
- Information about the new owner
- The date of the contract
- as well the number of the notary contract, which can be traced in the notarial books (All land transactions were conducted at the county court and the notary documents were stored in the collection of county court as well as in the notarial collections of private notaries)

Not long ago 1,600 parish church books of the Ternopil region were transferred from the local civil registry offices to the State Archive of Ternopil region

- Buchach [ 𝗕𝘂𝗰𝘇𝗮𝗰𝘇 ]
- Monastyryska [ 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘇𝘆𝘀𝗸𝗮]
- Pidvolochysk [ 𝗣𝗼𝗱𝘄𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗰𝘇𝘆𝘀𝗸 ]

In Galicia and Volhynia there were several emigration syndicates through which people emigrated abroad
Each region had its own branch of the syndicate. But it often happens that people leaving different regions could leave through different syndicates.
