GUATEMALA TRIP: THE TWO MAYAN WORLDS

Discover the natural treasures of Central America and the two worlds of the great Mayan civilization: the colorful world of benevolent locals, who have preserved their own culture and ancient traditions for centuries, and the world of the Great Mayans from the past, who have left the unsolvable secrets and the greatest pyramids hidden in the jungle.
🚀 ANTIGUA GUATEMALA is the former colonial capital. Very nice, cozy town and surrounded by three volcanoes. This is the first stage of the trip – chilling and comfortable couple of days in a historical center of conquistadors.
🚀 The stunning sunrises and sunsets on the most beautiful lake on earth – ATITLAN – the sacred place of power. There’s a pure magic and vibrations which have been served as a source of inspiration for the great writers and film makers: Antoine de Saint-Exupery, Aldous Huxley, Morgan Freeman, Darren Aronofski and others. The OUTERWORLD is right here, according to Mayan people.
🚀 Discover the heritage of the Great civilization in the very heart of Maya Quiche people’s village. You will take part in traditional ritual floral&fire ceremony running by the Mayan ‘akh-ih’ – the real, non-commercial shaman lady; exclusively for our small group of travellers.
🚀 The most colorful and authentic market in Central America: twice a week, only in CHICHICASTENANGO village. There’s a plenty interesting sites here as well, and we will have a chance to explore them.
🚀 How about volcano climbing? An active PACAYA volcano has a comfortable trekking ride for a half-day activity. Very attractive! And if you don’t mind, we will spend a few hours at the hobbits’ village.
🚀 SANTIAGO ATITLAN: this hidden gem of Guatemala beetles up the southern slopes of the magnificent volcano of Atitlán, forgotten by anything but nature. Stay there for an overnight sharing the time with the most legendary persons of the region and waiting for our lucky chance to meet the King of the birds – El Quetzal.
🚀 The comfortable flight to Flores will open new opportunities to see the abandoned sacred sites Yaxha and Tikal, discovering the Mayan Lost World in a very attractive way with best local guides.
