Real Crimea offers our foreign friends two tours to choose: Highlights of Crimea (Nature and History) and Land of Adventures (Nature and Fun). Here you will find a short description of the tour Highlights of Crimea (Nature and History) which lasts 6 days and has 2 extra days as an option.
Day 1. You arrive at Simferopol Airport in the afternoon we will pick you up and bring you to your room(s) in Yalta. On our way, we will get acquainted and then we will tell you briefly about the places we pass by and give some general information about the life in Crimea. After having a short rest we can have a welcoming dinner (optional) and then have a walk along the seaside of Yalta.
Day 2. The active part of our tour starts. We pick you up by our minivan or minibus and visit to one of the most significant and popular sights of Crimea - Livadia Palace where a crucial historical event of the XX century, Yalta Conference, was held. The tour will continue at the Swallow’s Nest, a marvelous castle in Gothic style standing on the edge of a high cliff over the sea. As a cherry on top, we invite you to go then to our secret place not far from the Swallow’s Nest where we will enjoy splendid views and have a picnic. After the picnic, we suggest going to the nearby beach to have a swim and relax in rays of the setting sun.
Day 3. During this day we are going to visit the downtown, the first stone building of Yalta, its main churches, the seaside park and of course the sea front of Yalta. In the afternoon, we are going to visit the biggest wine factory of modern Russia, Massandra winery.
Day 4. Get ready for hiking! Botkin path is one of the most picturesque, popular and comfortable mountain routes of the Crimean Mountains at the southern coast. Walking on this path will allow even the most experienced tourists to enjoy wonderful mountain air, plenty of waterfalls and rivers, headlong rocks and striking views. S. Botkin, a famous Russian climate researcher and doctor, pointed out amazing healing properties of the trail back in the 19th century, while walking on a narrow path among pine trees.
Day 5. We are visitting the biggest palace of Crimea that attracts thousands of tourists all over the world – Vorontsov Palace located in the town of Alupka and surrounded by a spacious wonderful Alupka park. After visitting the former residence of the Russian nobleman and walking in the park we are going to see an admirable church of Christ’s Ressurection in the outskirts of Yalta well-known for its scenic location. At the end of the day we suggest you having dinner in one of the restaurants near to Baidar valley, trying the best Crimean chebureki and having some beer or Crimean wine. The restaurant has splendid views!
Day 6. Our tour continues in Balaklava, a popular Crimean seaside settlement on the shores of a sunny bay to the south of Sevastopol. We will see ruins of a medieval fortress, visit a former secret military base, enjoy light breeze, swimming and sunbathing during a boat trip and try freshly caught fish in the best fish restaurant of Crimea.
At this point, if you book a 6 day tour, our guided tour ends. We bring you back to your rooms in the evening and on the next day (the 7th) we will bring you to Simferopol Airport (in the morning or afternoon).
However, if you decide to stay longer (of course, in case of informing us before the beginning of the tour), we’ll continue our adventure!

Day 7. If you make up your mind and take an absolutely correct decision to choose our 8 day tour you will have the opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful and interesting cities in modern Russia - Sevastopol. The history of the place dates back to the 6th century B.C. when ancient Greeks established their colony, the town of Chersonesus, in the area of the present-day city.
After visiting Chersonesus in the morning, we will have a walk in the downtown, see Grafskaya Wharf, Nakhimov’s Square, the Monument Scuttled Ships and other sights of the city. We will have a lunch at one of the traditional Crimean restaurants where you can taste local meals. In the afternoon we offer you to visit the Museum of Pamorama where you can see a unique enormous pictorial representation of one of the fights during the Crimean war. Its area is 1600 square meters! In the evening we get back to Yalta.
Day 8. Our tour continues with the magic place of Power – the Temple of the Sun that is located in a wonderful and picturesque valley of Laspi. This mysterious creation of nature attracts people of all the religions who look for the answers to their questions. After going down from the mountain we will visit one of the most beautiful wild beaches of Crimea, the bay of Laspi.
So, on the last day we offer you to go hiking to a sacred place where we are going to have a picnic and get energy from the stones. After walking around the place and enjoying great views we will go down to our car that will bring us closer to the Laspi beach. We will have to walk a little but then you will be rewarded with a fantastic beach where we will relax, swim, and most probably have dinner in one of the local restaurants that offer fresh and delicious meals at reasonable price. In the evening we return to Yalta.
Next day (the 9th), if you have airplane tickets, our minibus will bring you to the airport.
