Today, we supported this man Julius of Kitojo in Sheema District who is utilising our wetlands sustainably. Julius and others largely depends on wetlands for their day to day survival. We're going to use these 'mats' to cover our coffee nursery bed. Very few people can understand such a contribution of wetlands on our !

This weekend we were preveledged to host a team of young men/women who are enthusiastic about Uganda's tourism sector. We took them through a number of activities that we do at our farm to promote agrotourism. We discussed a number of issues especially on community/agro tourism.

Muga Eco Village is located in an area called Rwakanyonyi! The name Rwakanyonyi means birds! At the time our Grandparents moved to settle here they found the place largely dominated by birds (in bush) and they ended up naming the village Rwakanyonyi! As they moved on, human population increased and human activities chased away some birds but we've tried to restore them (birds) and they're back!
In recognition of them (birds) we've have given our cottages different names of the wonderful birds as we will be showing them!
We now bring you Enyangi!
