COME AND EXPERIENCE UGANDA IN A UNIQUE AND EXISTING WAY, CYCLING. CYCLING TOURS GIVE THE RIDER AN EXPERIENCE THAT CAN’T BE FOUND BY WALKING OR IN A CAR, IT IS THE BEST WAY TO SEE THE PEARL OF AFRICA
Robert Allelua is an experienced leisure cyclist based in western Uganda, fort portal town area. He has notched up many miles on a bike but did not start cycling until he was into his early twenty’s.
He started with a chap running bike tours and quickly realized that cycling was fun and it could be safe, despite what a lot of people said. After initially “surviving” and then enjoying this commute Robert realized that if he could pass on the skills he had learned to other, then they might not have those initial nerves he had experienced. Robert trained as an assistant with (IBIKE) and begun to think on of making his own bicycle tour company. Robert soon realized that there was demand for both play ground based on road training, and it was with this in mind that he became a cycling instructor. Since this time Robert has taught many bike skills to groups of both old and young in places as far as Fort portal and Kichwamba areas where he is based. Robert has also taught adults to ride and has provided them with advice and how to plan journeys, he knows from personal experience how difficult it can be to take those first steps of just getting onto a bike and then actually getting on it and going for a ride. He has the skills and experience to make it enjoyable for the adults. Robert has fleet of adults’ mountain bikes together with their helmets and other equipments available for hire. Get in touch if you have a group that wishes to undertake a bicycle tour or if you want to organize a cycling party. Robert will customize a tour just for you. Robert is now a keen mountain biker; he has recently attended a mountain bike skill course. If you are interested in guided off-road rides, either for children, adults or whole family groups then Robert would love to hear from you ([email protected]/[email protected] as the general manager cycling safaris Uganda. This could be a ride along the rift valley, tea plantation or cycle through some of the most beautiful forests, game parks, lakes and national parks, more of his work can be seen here and there. Note: My work is to give directions, to lead discussions, to translate and interpret, to help members of the group with their individual concerns, fixing equipments, motivating people, arranging rooms and board setting up visits, keeping records, correction of information and much more indeed this is done with a lot of concern and responsibility which makes the tour successful and enjoyable.
