Now that we have stepped into 2025, let us even more firmly embrace the promise of newness, hope, and expectancy that comes with being believers in Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” This powerful truth encourages us to leave behind the past and look forward to the future with faith and obedience.
No matter the personal challenges we face, we must trust what God is up to in our lives and maintain the forward motion. Philippians 3:13-14 says, “Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Are you understanding?
As we journey through this new year, let us blaze a trail of faithfulness and obedience. Let us be willing to step out in faith, trusting that God will guide our steps and provide for our needs. With hearts full of hope and expectancy, we can face each day with the confidence that God is with us, making all things new.
Here’s my prayer… that 2025 be a year of renewed faith, abundant blessings, and unwavering trust in the One who makes ALL THINGS NEW.
