See boys are ready to be initiated into an adult by going through an exercise of circumcision process. Circumcision festival is performed after every even year and in this month of December is the season.
Sebei tribe living on the slopes of Mount Elgon honors this festival as everything and important moments. Boys are emotionally supported and mentally prepared because it’s a tough process to go through a pain without any pain reliever.
At the end of the process, the very boys are considered as brave, warrior and free to participate in the community decision making and gains freedom to make personal decisions. Whereas such moments takes place and is performed publicly, every person is highly invited.
