The Biritanyi Gorge was cut through a hill and land owned by one Kimasi Tom with a portion of about 60 meters long tarmack to allow the Biritanyi River waters to flow above the road surface instead of a bridge as they cross the road. The Beauty of the Gorge is the paved 60 meters road in a S shape that allows the waters cross on the surface making everybody travelling to Lush subcounty to wade through.
