We are looking for skilled waitress and waiter to take orders and deliver food and beverages to our customers. The right waitress/waiter uplifts the dining experience for customers. This would be someone who will have patience, personality and perseverance to thrive in this role.
Responsibilities;
Prepare tables by setting up linens
Greet and es**rt customers to their preferred tables
Present the menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
Inform customers about the day’s specials
Take accurate food and drinks orders
Deliver checks and collect bill payment
Meet with head cook to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations
Provide excellent customer service to guest
Requirements;
Proven work experience as a waiter or waitress and bar attendant
Minimum entry S.4
Certificate in hotel, food and beverages, hospitality and tour guiding etc. is an added advantage
Basic mathematic skills
Attentiveness and patience for customers
Excellent hand writing
Strong multitasking and organizational skills
Team spirit
Active listening and effective communication skills
Highly responsible and reliable

The Karimojong initiation ceremonies, Is the process of introducing a young person into adult hood. Among the Karimojong, initiation cereminies are higly respected and its an important transition of power from one generation to another. There is no exact age at which one is expected to be initiated, however the time and age when one is to be initiated variesfrom clan to another and in most cases it depends on the Ngigetei and Ngimoru (leading and well respect class of elders) on when they decide to hand ovwr power to their sons.
