At present more than 1,550 Rothchild’s giraffes occur in Uganda. It is rare elsewhere in their former range but very common in the northern part of Murchison Falls National Park, Kidepo Valley, Lake Mburo, and very recently (2019) translocated to Pian Upe Game Reserve.

GOLDEN MONKEYS are beautiful unique primates found on the slopes of the Virunga volcanoes which are shared between Rwanda, Uganda and DR Congo.
And are a sub-species of the Sykes Monkey also referred to as the “Blue Monkey” and are scientifically known as Cercopithecus Mitis kandti.
