As we have said so many times here at Across Africa, ... our magnificent Uganda, is not ALL about the Gorillas and we are truly blessed with so much other incredible wildlife too!
This spectacular footage of 2 fighting elephant bulls was taken at the Kazinga Channel during a self drive safari of one of our recent clients Florian Schoeffel.
The Kazinga Channel is a wide, 32-kilometre long natural channel that links Lake Edward and Lake George, and is a dominant feature of the Queen Elizabeth National Park. The channel attracts a varied range of wildlife and birds, with one of the world's largest concentration of hippos and numerous Nile crocodiles.
A fantastic highlight of any visit to the Pearl of Africa 🤎🧡

Sometimes ....you just need a Mother's hug!
Happy Mother's day Uganda!🤎🧡
If this does not make your day ...then nothing will!
Whilst the Mountain Gorilla population has been growing slowly for the last few years, they are still very much an endangered species ...and so news of a newborn, always brings huge excitement to all of those involved in their conservation.
Mom Ubuhamiya is part of the Mafunzo group in Rwanda and already has a 3.5 year old son called Uhiriwe, whom although all grown up now and able to fend for himself, was one of the first to be introduced to his new baby sibling.🧡🤎

We are ready to welcome you to beautiful Uganda!!
Greetings from our beautiful, magnificent and truly amazing Uganda ....and the Across Africa team!
We know its been a while since we chatted properly... So we created this video to show the world that we are indeed all happy and healthy and very much 'open for business' and so ready to welcome everyone to our very special country.
We have infact already received several tourists on their post lockdown travels, especially from Germany, as when returning from Uganda, there are no quarantine rules in place. Our recent visitors cannot believe how organized we are here in deepest Africa in terms of hygiene safety protocols in place at every point.
