Our director and safari consultant Caroline this evening shared a light moment with well renowned primatologist and anthropologist Dr. Jane Goodall who is currently in Uganda to celebrate 25 years of Ngamba sanctuary island
Dr. Jane Goodall is the first person to discover and observe that chimpanzees create and use tools, a discovery that is considered one of the greatest achievements of the twentieth century. This also changed the way we understood both animals and ourselves. She is the founder of the Jane Goodall institute and the Roots and Shoots program. In 2002 she was named a United Nations messenger of peace. As of 2022, she is on the board of the Nonhuman rights project
