Say HBD to our closest relative to human the chimps(Zakayo) a man who has contributed in both tourism and conservation sector. it is known as Uganda's oldest chimpanzee and he lives at Uganda Wildlife Education center(UWEC)Zoo which is located in Entebbe district. Yesterday 27/10/2017 he made 54 years of age in captivity. Zakayo was rescued at one year on 10th June, 1964, from Bundibugyo. The person who picked him up, stayed with the chimpanzee for about 13 years before and later handled him over to Entebbe Zoo in 1976. Many chimps live under captivity and they can be met zoo, Ngamba island chimpanzee sanctuary, and many live in their natural habitat in kibale forest national park, Kyambura gorge in Queen Elizabeth national park, Budongo Forest, among many other areas. in captivity you can participate in feeding them as well as learning more about their behaviors. trekking can be done in their natural habitat. chimps share almost 98% of human genes. http://africansecrets.ltd.ug/

A Gorilla is the largest primate with a massive build, powerful muscle structure, large head with low forehead and small ears.
