Kaushikroy Damani, born in 1951, Kampala, Uganda in a wealthy Jain family went to India for the first time in the sixties in pursuit of University education and to connect to his cultural roots. His over 15 years stay in India not only earned him a Master’s Degree from the University of Poona but also an in depth study of Yoga with some of the greatest Gurus including BKS Iyengar and Osho. Realizi
ng there was more to Yoga than Postures and Breathing, Kaushikroy in the true yogic tradition retreated to the Himalayas in search of self-realization. He lived and learnt from many enlightened Yogis directly first-hand how Ayurveda, Yoga & Ta**ra combined completes the mysteries of Body, Mind and Spirit or Sat Chit Ananda. He was taught with such love, honesty and sincerity that it has compelled him to share his experience with all seekers. Nowadays this kind of simple, authentic and humble teaching is very rare and almost extinct. With this in mind in the eighties Kaushikroy went to San Francisco, California to share his experience with the then fitness conscious Americans. However there he found a muddled, chaotic and confused scenario in the name of Yoga. He kept away from the commercialized Yoga and rather concentrated on his academic work and teaching only selected persons. To give expression to his teaching, he founded the American Academy of Yogic Science and was a doctoral student at the California Institute of Integral Studies. He also taught at the Ali Akbar College of Music in San Rafael and through the San Francisco Parks & Recreation Department at the Golden Gate Park. Apart from teaching, California was also a great learning experience. In the hub of the Silicon Valley a realization that through communications technology, the ancient knowledge of Yoga could be preserved and shared at the same time. In the nineties Kaushikroy returned to Africa, his birth place and started teaching seminarians and the under privileged communities, school children including Reach Out at Mbuya Catholic Parish. He now lives on the outskirts of Kampala on the shore of Lake Victoria with his wife Irene, daughter Krisma and son Paraus on the 500 acre family estate. He continued to develop communication modules to combine his life- long teaching and learning experience in a single package. The result is a the ‘Yoga Miracle- Seven Simple Steps’, a set of 7 DVD’s running almost 18 hours in total accompanied by 7 eBooks: Perhaps, the most comprehensive and complete package combining the entire spectrum of Ayurveda, Yoga & Ta**ra in one bundle. We are happy to offer it you and benefit from it for the rest of your life!
