I contacted Gem Africa Safaris several months prior to our family my trip to coastal Kenya. I looked at the reviews online, which were very good and reassuring. However, I was a little anxious booking a safari trip and committing a deposit in advance with a local company. The trip was destined to Diani where we stayed at Jacaranda Indian Ocean Resort. My concerns were to no avail as everything turned out fantastic. Airport pick up was on time met by Andrew, who was also our guide for the Mombasa City Tour. He was excellent. Our hotels were also very good and cozy. Gem was reliable, flexible on their pricing and offers a heartwarming service!

"The architecture of Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge, particularly the stone work of this blend-into-the-environment lodge, was amazing. Every room had a view down into the Ngorongoro caldera. The rooms were well appointed and the turn-down service with hot water bottles in the bed were appreciated. When most people think of peace, they think of freedom from disturbance; quiet and tranquillity. When I think of peace, Lake Mburo national park is the first name that comes to mind for two reasons. Despite being very close to Kampala district . it experiences tranquillity and harmony that many have to travel over 5,000 miles to get. Secondly, it is home to mostly peaceful herbivores; a mix of heavy grazers and light eaters. As such, you don’t have to worry about being attacked by carnivores with the unmatched skills of making meals out of human flesh and blood. The Uganda Gorilla Permit Price increases to $700 effective July 1-2020: The Uganda Wildlife Authority announced in August of 2019 that that Gorilla Permit Prices would be increased from $600 to $700 for foreign Tourist. This is in our opinion is a minimal increase and reflects the restrain that UWA has shown since Rwanda doubled its Gorilla Permit Prices from $750 to $1,500.

in Capital, Jinja The guides who lead this tour are really enthusiastic about their job and know how to fire up their mood. They have a great balance of letting you just ride in peace to enjoy the experience, ensuring you are comfortable. The trails start out easy enough, on flat surfaces, but then graduate to climbs and descents on what appeared to be very-close-to-the-edge paths. The route is enchanting, and will give you plenty of time to feel the harmony and pristine state of a typical Ugandan village

The activity is easy as there are not many Dos and Don�ts. The artificial lures are designed in the shape of prey that are a delicacy for giant tilapias and nile perch. The guides are really patient instructors. This makes the activity doable even for first timers.
