Permits: To participate in gorilla trekking, you need to obtain a gorilla trekking permit. It is advisable to book your permit well in advance through the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) or a trusted tour operator. Permits are limited to a certain number of visitors per day to minimize the impact on the gorillas and their habitat.

Trekking Experience: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi involves hiking through dense forests, steep terrain, and possibly muddy trails.
