______ABOUT OUR FIRM TRIP_____
Come 8th March, 2024 Our team of content writers, travel planners and travel consultants will embark on a firm trip we have called “Conquering the Untold Stories of Uganda”, it’s to last for 23days, visiting the hidden gems of Uganda. As we eagerly await the arrival of D-day, our 4x4 land cruiser is ready with our bags packed. We want you to know that we are here to keep you informed about all the wonders we discover, so please don't feel left out.

Places to visit in more details
DAY 1 –
Total Kitoro will be our starting point at exactly 6am, after which we proceed to Entebbe International Airport, where we will receive information regarding where to drop off departing guests and where to pick up arriving clients. Learn more about different services at the airport, the various flights, and the specifications needed there. Additionally, gather more relevant details on Entebbe's main tourism destinations and its many accommodation options.
From Entebbe we shall proceed to Kampala for a city tour that won’t take a lot of time, there we shall visit; Gadaffi’s mosque, Namirembe Cathedral, Nakasero market, Kasubi tombs, Parliament Avenue, Uganda’s Martry’s and Lubaga Cathedral.
Finally, we'll visit Jinja city, have a stopover at Mabira for zip lining, and then head to the campsite for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 2
– Here at Jinja, we shall wake up very early in the morning, have breakfast, drive to the source of the Nile, have a thrilling boat cruise, go for a daring water rafting. Later we’ll visit Busowoko falls a breathtaking spot.
After exploring the beauty of Busowoko falls, we’ll drive heading to the majestic Sipi falls, approximately a 4hr drive, passing through the hills of Mbale. We’ll spend the night at Sipi River Camp.
DAY 3
_ At Sipi Falls, we shall have the privilege to hike the falls from the bottom to the top, enjoying the panoramic views and learn about the Arabica and Robusta coffee. After that, we head in the direction of Mount Elgon, where we will spend the night at the UWA Mountain Elgon Campsite.
4th day & 5th day
– We will hike through the magnificent Mount Elgon for both days, taking in the stunning views of its lush forests and many natural features. Although the process will be challenging, it promises to be an amazing journey as you strive to reach the summit.
DAY 6
– Having conquered Mount Elgon, we shall descend to the base and later drive to the untamed Pian Upe National Reserve, to uncover its hidden treasures with a thrilling game drive and calming bushwalks. We’ll camp at Pian Upe bands.
DAY 7
– Early in the morning we shall embark on a game drive in Pian Upe, searching for the defined predators there and its endemic animals. Later, transfer to Bukoro Reserve, another hidden gem in Uganda, drive out through Matheniko Reserve, a protected area that borders Uganda and Kenya. Finally, we shall stretch to Moroto town where we shall spend a night at Kara – Tunga arts.
DAY 8 – In Moroto, we shall have cultural experiences as the area is known for having most authentic communities that have kept their culture norms. We shall explore the Karamojong culture, their traditional ceremonies, traditional dance, traditional attire, traditional customs and their way of living. We shall later return back to Kara- Tunga arts for an overnight.
DAY 9 – As conquerors, we also hope to conquer Mount Moroto. We shall engage in another challenging activity of hiking Mount Moroto, where we shall be served adventurous experiences as we find our way to the top passing through rugged trails on steep slopes. We hope to engage with the Tepeth people that live on the slopes of Mount Moroto and learn a few things about their culture. Return back to Kara- Tunga arts.
DAY 10
- After our breakfast we shall transfer to Kidepo Valley NP, the most waited is coming and we come, meet, Kidepo valley home to uncountable buffalos. Dinner and overnight at UWA Budders.
DAY 11
– We shall spend the entire day on a game drive, taking in the splendor of Kidepo National Park and spotting a variety of wildlife. Spend the night at UWA budders.
DAY 12
- We shall drive through communities of northern part as we head to West Nile towards the biggest national park in Uganda, endowed with plenty of biodiversity. Along the way, we shall make a stopover at Arua falls, another place that we need to be explored and bring it closer to those that haven’t been there. Remember our goal is to conquer all the untold stories. Overnight at student center.
13 DAY
– We shall have an orientation in the morning, then embark on an adventurous game drive, then later hike to the top of the powerful Murchison Falls, embrace the stunning views, the breeze and the splash of the water.
DAY 14
– We shall drive to Bugoma Tropical Forest, a home to Chimpanzees, mangabeys, a variety of birds species among other species. We shall also proceed to Kabwoya wildlife, a home to kobs. Proceed to Kibale National Park, spend the night at Rwetera Safari Park.
DAY 15
- After breakfast we shall transfer to Primates capital of Kibale, go to the visitor center, then to Bigodi for a calming nature walk, a drive through the vast black tea gardens endowed with stunning views. In afternoon, we shall go for crater lakes exploration. Dinner and overnight at Fort.
DAY 16
– After parking our baggage, we shall head to the enchanted Semuliki National Park, which is renowned for its breathtaking natural hot springs and endowed with natural beauty. A variety of bird species will be viewable to us in addition to other breathtaking natural features.
DAy 17
– Our destination will be the Rwenzori mountains, also known as the mountain of the moon. We will stop at Toro Kingdom along the way. Get answers to a few questions, like: What makes Fort Portal known as Tourism City? Dinner and overnight at Rwenzori Coats.
DAY 18
– We shall take a short hike to the first camp on Mount Rwenzori, then return to the bottom and continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park, home of the tree-climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at UWA campsite.
DAY 19 –
We shall go on an exciting game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, where we will see the park's lush vegetation and various animal species, such as the tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha region. A boat ride that offers us a closer look at the park's natural splendor will be another enjoyable recreation. Dinner and a stay at the UWA campsite
DAY 20th – Still in Queen Elizabeth National Park, we shall have photographic safari then continue to the first entry of Bwindi. There we shall just interact with head- quarter wardens and head guides about mountain gorillas, explore all the 4 entry points (Buhoma, Nkuringo, Rushaga, Ruhija). Get information about the mountain gorillas.
DAY 21st
– Being atop mountains that border three countries—Uganda, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo—is incredible. Our fourth mountain to climb will be Mount Muhavura, where we may have the opportunity to see some rare animals like golden monkeys. We will next make our way to Lake Bunyonyi, where we will spend the night.
DAY 22nd
– This shall be the day to bid the Highlands farewell. We shall drive across the vast hills of Kigezi while contemplating the huge migration of Ankole cows, who left the magnificent volcanic lakes and mountains of Mutanda and Mulehe. Next, we explore the country of Matoke and discover how the staple food of Uganda came to be.
DAY 23rd
– Everything has an end, as the saying goes. Our firm trip will conclude at Lake Mburo National Park, where we will have guided nature hikes that let us appreciate more of the wildlife and observe smaller details. Then drive back to our starting point.
