The Kansas City Modern Quilt Guild is an awesome group and they have opened enrollment to their guild retreat Thusday Jan 23-26th to non guild members at the Art Nest! This is a great time to be introduced to this group and enjoy a quilting retreat!

This weekend open retreat was awesome! We had a small group of cool folks! The amount of amazing people at these retreats blows my mind, interesting, fun, skill crafters! I feel honored to host people and hope to give them what ever they need, a place to create, meet new people, build new friends, connect with old friends, be with your people, a break, energy to create beautiful things! Art Nest Retreat Center 30 min N of the Kansas City airport A NEW ADDITIONAL DATE!!! OPEN RETREAT Jan 9th thru Jan 12th (our other January date is full ) we opened up another weekend!!! Arrive Thursday anytime after 10 AM , leave Sunday before 4 PM.

This includes 3 night 4 day retreat, friends can room together by request, see room accommodations. Each guest gets 2 five foot tables, comfy chairs, access to facility, bedrooms, hot tub, massage chair, library and 2 big kitchen areas and more! We would love to have you and your freinds give us a try!!!! Open to all Quilters, scrapbookers, knitters, painters all crafters!! So get a few crafty friends and relax after the holiday hussle!!!

2025 Is off to a great start with a retreat this weekend held by Fabric Chic in Parkville with a full house! Dates are filling up and we have these dates coming up that are available!!!!!
APRIL 15-20th
MAY 1-4th
MAY 8th -11th
How does this work you ask? Any group of friends, guilds, clubs, workshop instructors, teachers of a craft, sewlebrities, can organize and book a private retreat. You pick your date, pay a deposit and you post your event and sell spots!
We would love to help you organize your event. I would be glad to help organizers plan easily as we have lots of experience in helping groups get the best crafting experience they can!
