PSA‼️‼️ Everybody that know me know that I’m a respectful person and show respect to everybody. I killed two deer on 1/3 and dropped it off at Lee Processing & Taxidermy in a cooler. I went back a week or so later to get my color and the young man on the right told me that my meat has been took out to get ready to cut.
After not receiving a call/update on the deer, I stopped by today to check on it and they told me that they had to throw it away cause i had it sitting out for a day or two. (I don’t understand why they didn’t call me the day they took the meat out the cooler, or tell me it was bad the day I came to pick up my cooler).
They tried to say it went bad cause I didn’t have ice on it when they never told me it needed ice. I have been going there for years. If the deer meat was bad I don’t understand why they took it in the first place. I’m trying to figure out if I didn’t stop by when was they ever going to call me and tell me it was bad. I see why everybody has stopped going down there like they used to.
The processer I normally deal with I never have that problem cause they put my meat in the freezer and everything is good. The point of the post is to show how they treated me today. When I was walking out the owner said “if the fu**er knew how to clean a deer he wouldn’t have that problem, he should’ve brought it to us whole”‼️.
That just hurt me and I had to make a statement cause being black and hearing older white men talk to you like that, makes you feel as if they think they just can say and do whatever they want. And that’s not the case no more, I’m not looking for sympathy just want to spread the word cause if I don’t say what I experienced nobody will ever know.
Y’all let me know if the deer meat look bad, I took the picture right after I put the meat in the cooler and was heading to there place ‼️
