Hello there.
Been ages since I posted here. Spend much of the last two years on the road (I did 28 weekend events last year) which is a bit bonkers. It doesn't leave a lot of time for keeping up with all you should. Sorry about that. Hopefully whomever finds this page also has found my facebook and twitter pages where I check in almost daily. I'll be posting up a schedule for the summer shortly. I'm in Mexico City this weekend for Mega XP and YELLOW RABBIT's FINAL MAGIC SHOWDOWN. I love their events and have been grateful to visit as often as I have. Two weeks from now - June 7-9, I'll be joining in with Star City Game Con's latest VEGAS show. A few weeks later it's Paupergeddon in Pisa, and Magic Con Amsterdam. And then I'm home a bit. This years shows seem to be bunched up, but that's how it goes sometimes. I hope all is well with you (trusted reader) - (as Stephen King says). See you somewhere down the road.

For those of you who have found this page, thanks for looking. Despite the strange world we find ourselves in, work goes on. Adventure can be found and there are better days out there. This last summer I started making tentative steps towards shows again. I did a few store visits, and a few new shows and the next month and a half have me attending an event every weekend. Here is a flyer showing those events. If you are out and about, stop by and say hi. Cheers. J.

Hi there. I'm starting to do shows (a few at a time). The first was in Phoenix at North Valley Games. Two weeks ago I was in Tampa for a large show - the inaugural Trading Card Games Con. They are having a second in Galveston in August. Here is the information. It looks to be a large show with lots of games at hand - MTG, Pokemon, Flesh and Blood - etc. I'll have tokens, prints, playmats etc and be doing custom alters and drawings for folks. If you are in the area. Stop by. It was great being back at a show. I think you'll enjoy it too. Cheers. Jeff

So hello there. Occasionally curious folks stop by. Thank you. I've been home as most of you have been, since March. I have been doing sketches of folks (presented as Goblin Tokens) the whole time. I've also been busy with various new and old commissions. Here are a couple samples of recent work. I hope you like them. Until the world gets healthy, stay safe folks.

Hello. Folks keep finding this page so here's an update. Still no proper website - perhaps in October (I hope). I've been doing the daily goblin drawings on Twitter and am about to pass #200. How crazy? I am currently working on commissions (old and new) and a giant repaint of the MTG Show and Tell card. Here's a detail of the big (24x18) painting. Hope you are all doing well and staying safe. Thanks for stopping by. Jeff

If you've found this page you may know I've been doing a daily drawing for folks. A custom Goblin Token based on photos folk have sent me. Tomorrow is the 100th day of the project and I'll be posting up this image of the work so far. There are actually 102 as a couple were done before I started doing the project. Anyway. Since you are here. I thought I'd show you first. If you'd like to follow them, I'm on Twitter as "Illustrator Jeff". Have a good day. Stay safe. J.

So as I've mentioned, I need a proper website. For those of you who have found this spot on the internet. Thanks for looking for me. I'll keep an eye out for messages and such and hopefully sometime this summer I'll have a proper site (with galleries, a store, a travel blog) etc. In the meantime I appreciate your "likes" and your dropping by. Cheers

Hello there. I started this page because I wanted to interact with folks. I started it to be a place to share art and to announce appearances. I started it to have a site for a travel blog (to post stories and photos). And I started this to have a online gallery/portfolio for clients and a sales site for folks looking to acquire things. I haven't managed any of that really. The fans page, twitter page, Instagram page all seem to do some of what I need this for, but it would seem a proper web page is what I have to get made. As you roam the internet, are their art pages you like that I should look at? Is there a program or website builder you'd recommend? I'm home and all ears - as they say. Let me know if you insights into what would do the job. Thanks and have a great weekend. Jeff

Ok. Studio Laubenstein is waiting on me to get caught up, but at the same time I'm painting and drawing away in Laubenstein's Studio... craziness ensues. Thanks for taking a look. I am going to be in INDIANAPOLIS the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd of February (yes in a little under two weeks) and then the following weekend will be at MEGA XP in Mexico City. I'll post up flyers for both tonight. In the meantime here are a couple brand new paintings I'm using for Magic the Gathering Tokens. Thanks for taking a look and for your patience. Jeff
