Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss from 4 year old Annabelle!

We did not find out the gender of either of the girls, so we had to have a gender-neutral nursery. I looked all over for something with bright colors and fun shapes. I am not one for pastels and flowers. Then I found it at Pottery Barn…Dr. Seuss bedding. I am pretty sure everyone thought I was crazy, but I loved it! That year I had several Dr. Seuss baby showers and collected all the books. Most of them I had read but a couple I had not. I have enjoyed reading them over the years to the kids. And most years, probably not this one b/c I am about to start the Mommy Uber Service to afternoon actives that doesn’t end until 9:00pm, we enjoy celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday!

Over the last 5 days I've enjoyed 3 different resorts and 7 different parks. I learned a lot and realized that this decision is the right one for me. I have decided to take a step back from travel planning. Disney and Universal planning will always hold a very dear place in my heart, and I will still visit lots, but this trip did feel a little like goodbye. I feel Walt has left the building and I hope one day he is brought back!

Last night I rode my mom's favorite ride and collected these pictures. I have been thinking about this moment for the last couple of months and didn't realize how hard it would be to do.
Goodbye Disney Travel...I am so lucky!
