The B'nai B'rith Apartments are "more than just a place to live." These pages are meant to be a virtual scrapbook for the B'nai B'rith Apartments.

Some of the people pictured are no longer with us but they were at one time part of the B'nai B'rith Apartments family. The B'nai B'rith Apartments are owned and operated by the Allentown B'nai B'rith Housing Corporation, a non-profit organization. The goal of the Allentown B'nai B'rith Housing Corporation is to offer safe, affordable, and comfortable housing for elderly persons and persons with a

qualifying mobility impairment. Our most important goal is that all residents are able to live with dignity in homes that they can be proud of. The B'nai B'rith Apartments are comprised of two buildings: B'nai B'rith House, an eleven-story building with 151 apartments, and B'nai B'rith West, a thirteen-story building housing 120 apartments. The buildings are connected by a first floor, plant-filled corridor, which allows tenants to travel between the buildings without having to go outside. We are very proud of the buildings, grounds, common areas, and all of the programs and activities offered to tenants. In addition to numerous opportunities for socialization, the buildings offer convenience in their proximity to stores, restaurants, public transportation, a hospital, doctors' offices, etc.

DYK there are specific timeframes to enroll in Medicare Parts B & D? You could potentially face lifetime LATE ENROLLMENT PENALTIES if you don’t enroll in time.
Here’s how to avoid late enrollment penalties:

1. Enroll during your Initial Enrollment Period – 3 months before you turn 65, your birthday month, and ends 3 months after you turn 65.

2. Enroll during the General Enrollment Period – January 1st – March 31st.

3. Enroll in a Part D plan as soon as you become eligible, even if you don’t take prescriptions now.

We are sending huge thanks to Allentown Police Department Sergeant John Leonard III and members of the Allentown Police Youth Mentorship Program / Allentown Police Athletic League for delivering Thanksgiving meals to the doors of almost 90 of our tenants (everyone who requested a meal received one)! This is the 3rd year that they have been doing this great service for us, and we are so very grateful.🦃💓👮‍♂️
