BIG NEWS!! Due to demand, a Sunday evening tour has been added. The tour will start at 9 pm at the feast hall at Old Economy Village, Church 3, across from 14th St. Reserve your tickets here, $10 each cash, payable at time of tour.

Twilight tours will begin on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at dusk, as part of the Bicentennial Celebration. Regular tours will resume on Friday, June 14th, 2024. The tours will be on Fridays at dusk this year. Reserve your tickets here!

Ticket reservations will be taken here or by calling (724) 494-5225, and payment (still only $10, cash only) will be taken at the time of the walk. I'm going to try my hand at building a website too. British folklore says that whistling inside the house is not recommended after dark or Midnight. Legend also says that at this time the dogs of hell and darkness will hear the sound of the whistle and being drawn in will manage to get closer to the whistling person and cause them harm... Also, people who whistle while showering in the early morning are said to be able to see shadows and spectres standing in the corners of the house. Other tales say the same thing about whistling in the woods at night, any travellers should avoid whistling for fear of attracting spirits stuck in limbo, those who were hung at crossroads. These lost souls were said to bring bad fortune to the unwary. There's an old British superstitious belief about the "Seven Whistlers" these are seven mysterious birds or spirits who call out to foretell death or a great calamity.

It was a dark and stormy night...
Great weather for ghost stories, not so great for a walk through the the streets of old Ambridge. But never fear!! In the event of rain, I'll contact ticket-holders and honor those tickets on another tour. But still send positive vibes that the storm holds off on Saturday evening, because "Caroline Duss" loves to share her tales.

Twilight Tours of Old Ambridge, happens every Saturday (weather permitting) June-October. Take a walk through some of the oldest streets of Ambridge, and hear tales of hauntings, missing persons, unsolved crimes and murder, as the light fades from the sky. Tickets are $10/person, and must be purchased in advance at Aunt Bridget's Tea Room, 1400 Duss Ave, Ambridge. Tours will be conducted every Saturday (weather permitting) through October.
