has been a family owned business since 1974, Carey felt it only natural to continue to grow the family legacy. started in the early 70s and made name for itself in pipeline construction. had a great vision of providing a high quality service for a fair price and also built the foundation of the company that greatness can only be achieved from hard work and dedication. His son, Carey Harbuck, Jr. l
ater joined his farther after serving his country in the Navy. While Carey Harbuck, Jr. followed in his fathers foot steps of taking the family company to new levels, that could only be achieved by the basis of which the company was founded on, hard work and dedication. He encouraged his son to find other avenues of employment then being in and out of a ditch his entire life. His son attended Georgia Southern University and perused his degree in what he felt came naturally to him, a BS in Construction Management. After several years of gaining some construction experience in General Contracting, Carey felt it was time to bring the company out of the ditch and in to the open where people could see the high quality service along with the hard work and dedication that family business was founded on. Therefore the Carey Harbuck Co. General Contractor was born.
