After 23 years in business, Jan's Wee Care is now closed.
I am retiring from childcare and looking forward to living in the mountains amongst trees and wildlife!
If your child has been a part of my crew over the past 23 years, thank you for allowing us to be a part of their lives.

Parents, Grandparents and friends of...
As some of you know, yesterday friends and I took 2 loaded suv's and 2 trailers of donated items up to Redding to assist the evacuees and fire fighters of the CARR fire.
To those that donated or helped make this happen, THANK YOU!
The need for help is ongoing.
We are continuing to gather donations and will be going up again this coming Saturday.
Items in high demand are as follows:
Bottled water
Gatorade
Individual packaged snack items
Disposable plates and cups
Ziploc bags
Batteries
Flashlights
Diapers and wipes
Handy wipes
Hand sanitizer
Bandaids
Tylenol
Hygiene items both full size and mini
Pet food and crates of all sizes
Socks and underwear, all sizes new and in package.
Pillows, new in package.
Any donated items can be brought to daycare at anytime this week up until Saturday morning.

A reminder that daycare is closed Monday May 28th for Memorial day and Tuesday May 29th-Friday June 1st for Graduation and fily festivities!

Upon our return June 4th we will be busy with many fun Summer activities that the kids have chosen to do!

Please send sunscreen of your choice with yoir child's name on the container.
Also, if your child wants to wear sandals or flip flops, please send a pair of sneakers or comfortable closed toe shoes for outside play, climbing and walks.

Parents,
Please remember to adhere to our illness policy!
Children must be free from fever, vomiting, diarrhea for at least 24 hours, without aid of medication before returning to daycare.
A child with any excessive cough and/or excessive nasal discharge may not attend daycare.
Along with the potential of sharing illness with the other children, we are not equipped to care for a sick child.

We have a busy week ahead with two schools being on minimum day schedules, another school and all kindergarten kids on regular schedule.

If there will be any changes to yoir child's normal schedule (late drop off, early pick up, picking up from school) please make sure that I am aware of this in advance.

Please check your family binder for your list of 2018 Holiday closure dates.

*included in that list is a half day closure on Tuesday March 27th. In looking at all school district schedules, school is not in session that week due to Easter break.
All children must be picked up from daycare on 3/27, no later than 12pm.
Care will not be available after 12.

Wednesday November 22, we will be making pumpkin pie dip. Please send a one cup container w/lid so that your family can enjoy some at home.
We serve this with apple and pear slices, nilla wafers and ginger snaps.
