Alisa Steady Art I am known for painting animals in a bold, textured style, as well as my abstract paintings. I paint BIG. I paint in bright bold colors.

I am just tapping into the bigness of who I am as a visual artist, and the many places self-discovery on canvas will take me. I paint ‘happy.’ Expressing emotion through color, paint tools and finger tips brings me exquisitely closer to the Universe distilled down to the wonder we experience as human beings on this earth. My Story

I am an artist in the Chicagoland area and I like to paint abstracts loosely. My color palette is typically bright and colorful, and a lot of mark making with mixed media goes on. In the end, a finished painting is charged with energy and expression, and is translated into whatever the viewer wants. I like it that way.
