Galaxy Unknown Records

for short is the label and production headquarters for Sausee/ Bud Vapor in the Bay Area of California. The name was born in 2000-2001 after a few productions were made using one Roland JX-305 and a Korg D16 hard Disc recorder. It had a lot of elements from the techno rave scene. Making the true style/ genre being classified as Unknown and sounded like it was from another Galaxy. In 2002 with the

help of Psyber Illusions media, the Mental Journey's E.P. was released on double pack vinyl and CD. Since then, there have been a few more synths added to the GUR studio such as a Korg MS 2000, Yamaha Motif Rack Mount, and a Korg Triton Extreme. Although there haven't been any purchasable releases since Mental Journeys. There are more then 100 tracks that have been produced. Some shared on the internet. Some still unheard.... Be on the look out for more tunes old and new from GUR. In 2008 Sausee decided to take the GUR name to a new direction and threw his first multi genre space themed event on April 12th 2008 called Galactic Funk in San Francisco. In July of 2008 GUR teamed up with Geomagnetic to put on the 1st Psymbolic event. Since then the 2 have worked together trying to unite different styles/ genres at events while keeping the Psy Trance way as the main....Be on the look out for more events from GUR as well :).
