🌴Typhoon Lagoon is themed after a tropical paradise hit by a furious storm. A massive typhoon swept through a serene tropical island, hurling surfboards into palm trees and marooning an old ship boat, Miss Tilly, atop Mount Mayday, the park's central peak.
☃️Blizzard Beach is themed after a ski resort that opened in Orlando during a freak winter storm. The snow melted, transforming it into a water park, and the slides resemble melting snow rolling down a mountain.

Soak up some family fun and sun in the surf pool, take a plunge on the water coaster, go for a thrilling white water journey, relax while floating around the lazy river, and let your little ones make a splash at the little tikes water areas.

I had the opportunity to experience the Haunted Mansion Holiday Overlay at Disneyland Park and it was AMAZING! This is when Pumpkin King Jack Skellington takes over the Haunted Mansion, and transforms it with frightfully festive touches for the Haunted Mansion Holiday, inspired by Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. 🎃💀

This attraction is one of the examples of just how well Disney does the holidays, whether it be at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, or on Disney Cruise Line. From holiday overlays on attractions and holiday events such as Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, to Very Merrytime Cruises on Disney Cruise Line, no one does the holidays like Disney!

Day Six: Disneyland Fireworks
The day began with some wonderful characters at the Plaza in Disneyland. We experienced Haunted Mansion with the holiday overlay once again and enjoyed some rest and networking in the afternoon. The day ended perfectly with Lobster Nachos at the Lamplight Lounge and fireworks. This is a magical place! 🏰

Day Five: New Experiences
It is unusually hot in Anaheim for this time of year. Today we enjoyed a mid day break but visited parks in the morning and evening. Check out some picture highlights of the day. A very memorable ride for me as Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout! We ate a delicious breakfast at Pym Kitchen. Check out that French toast. We’ll be enjoying another day of park hopping tomorrow along with a character breakfast. 🪄 ⭐️ 🏰

Day Four: Park Hopping Fun
Today has been a magical adventure reliving some favorites from my childhood such as Mr Toads Wild Ride and Snow White. Snacks included a delicious Matterhorn Macaroon and a classic Mickey sugar cookie. Haunted Mansion with the Christmas overlay was incredible! We are ending the evening with a special Dessert Party for World of Color and Radiator Springs.

Goal achieved!

This morning I took a tour that included the private apartment of Walt Disney on Main Street USA. He looked out his window as construction progressed and welcomed guests. The light was always on when he was in the apartment, but it stays on all the time now to honor his memory. Thanks Mr. Disney!

As we prepare for a full day of park hopping, bucket list item fulfilled to be in both magical locations within a short time frame. While there are similarities, I’m really enjoying some very special features about Disneyland including the proximity of the parks, special attractions, and some truly magical character experiences. Day Three: Tours
The Disneyland Resort has recently been renovated and is the flagship resort for the Disneyland resort. There are numerous room types and an amazing location in proximity to the parks. We have enjoyed visiting locations all over the property and I’ve even enjoyed a water slide and pool this afternoon. Today has been a great day to enjoy the entire property. We’ll be back in the parks tomorrow. There is so much to experience. 🏰

Day Two: Park Hopping
With only a short break to rest in the afternoon, we have been in the parks most all day and enjoying every moment. Highlights including visiting Cars Land, walking to Disneyland, the Pixar Parade, and the Incredicoaster. We are back in the parks tonight to enjoy the lights and additional rides using Lightning Lane MultiPass. Tomorrow we are not in the parks, but touring resorts and networking about how we can best support our clients.

Day One: Arrival
Today has been an amazing introduction to the magic of the Disneyland Resort. We ate a wonderful brunch at Storyteller’s Cafe and met some friends. We have explored the pool and our first resort, Disney’s Grand Californian Resort and Spa. Downtown Disney has wonderful food and shopping and led us to the entrance of Disneyland and California Adventure. We will be going into the parks tomorrow. Stay tuned for the Magic!

It is time!

Tomorrow begins an incredible adventure on the West Coast! The magic carpet/airplane will be traveling south to Anaheim, California for my second trip to Disneyland and my first time at California Adventure. Keep watching for all the updates, videos, and some special tours/experiences.

I’m looking forward to many things, but I’m not sure I’ll be ok when I walk into Radiator Springs for the first time. This was my 18 year old’s very favorite thing as a child.

The Festival of Fantasy Parade in the Magic Kingdom is a “must-do” daily afternoon parade. You’ll see so many of your favorite characters. This parade begins in Frontierland so it will take a little while longer to reach Main Street USA. Stake your claim on a viewing location along the route and get ready for the excitement! 🏰

In honor of such a sweet day, let's talk about one of the most iconic ice cream treats at Walt Disney World...the Kitchen Sink served at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney's Beach Club Resort.

FAQ -
How much does it cost to work with a travel agent?

I don’t charge any fees. You don’t pay me anything. You aren’t paying an additional amount to work with me. Vendors add on additional amounts to be used as commissions for agents.

But I don’t get paid a commission until after a client travels, so when I started, it was over four months before I got my first paycheck! When clients plan for a year or two and then they have to cancel, I don’t get paid out on those reservations at all. There can be a huge amount of work upfront with very little payout at times.

Our biggest travel tip for cruisers is to ALWAYS arrive the day before!

By now, you've probably seen the news about today's global ground stop that was caused by a worldwide technology issue. It has been a nightmare for all those traveling, and that's never how you want to start a vacation!

We always recommend booking an extra day in or near your cruise port! For example, if your cruise leaves on the 10th, you should plan to travel on the 9th.

This creates a buffer to help ensure you reach the ship on time and make sure your trip is off to a smooth start.

This is also a good time to remind everyone about the importance of travel protection. Many policies cover airline cancelations or delays (always review your specific policy throughly) if you find yourself in a situation like many are today.
