Renaissance Robotics - FTC Team 5937 Renaissance Robotics - FTC Team 5937 is a homeschooled robotics team based in Apopka, FL. New friends are worth crossing centuries for!

We're a group of 8 homeschooled kids ages 12-14. All of us have several years of JrFLL and FLL experience on one of the two BRICKschoolers FLL teams. This year we are competing in both FLL (on two different teams) and FTC. We're transitioning to FTC this year, since we'll eventually age out of FLL. Even after we age out of FLL, we'll still mentor the new BRICKschoolers kids.

2012/2013 Ring It Up

team members - Adam, Andrew, Christian, Isaac, Jesse, Morgan, Pryce, Rhiannon. Our "sibling support staff" are invaluable to us - they are 7-11 years old and our biggest (little) supporters - Alec, Andy, Frankie, Sasha. We know that it is our responsibility to set a good example and have them learn with us, so that they become great Renaissance Robotics team mates.

Astor County Library winner of the 2020 EBSCO Excellence in Rural Library Service Award. One library out of the United States is chosen for this award. The Astor Geek Fest was the event that put Astor Library at the top of the list.

This Teacher Appreciation Week, we celebrate educators for their unwavering dedication and commitment to inspiring young minds. Throughout the past few months, teachers have had to confront the abrupt transition to remote learning, and we are in awe of the outpouring of creativity and care from these educators in the face of such a challenge. Please join us this week in celebrating the amazing teachers who prepare our students for successful and happy lives.
