I came into this industry after a 10-year teaching career because it allowed me to have two opportunities that built upon my teaching; 1) the opportunity to help people and 2) the opportunity to build lifelong relationships. I quickly learned and applied financial industry knowledge as I worked side-by-side with financial adv
isors nationally and guided them through their business and financial planning and ways to improve their clients’ experiences. These experiences are so fulfilling because I’m working to help improve peoples’ financial conditions with the goal to make a difference in their quality of life especially related to retirement. I obtained my insurance license and started to help my own loved ones in their retirement journeys. I then became an investment advisor representative, giving me the ability to offer comprehensive planning but, more importantly, having knowledge that allowed me to asses my clients’ needs. I’ve now established 45° North Wealth Group, LLC. As founder, my vision is to develop a well-educated group of retirees who are financially stable and successfully stay retired. Based on my teaching, professional, and family experiences, my mission is to partner with pre- and post-retirees in retirement planning and execution through a caring, educational, and personalized process. Through 45° North Wealth Group, LLC, I will help solve the number one fear people have about retirement; running out of money. To accomplish this, I call on my love of teaching—teaching you about your money; how it can work for you; and how you can conserve, invest and spend. I’d like to guide you on your financial retirement journey. As a professional financial retirement consultant, I am not alone. I have resources at my disposal that can guide you in all aspects of your retirement. On a personal note, my family is the most important part of my life. I am married to Molly Guerin, an incredible person, wife and mother. Our four boys, Blake, Tyler, George and Russell, keep us busy. I wouldn’t trade the busy life of school, sports, vacations and doctor visits for anything in the world (maybe I’d trade watching Mickey’s Playhouse for the thousandth time). In my free time, I enjoy traveling, golfing and any family activity. I’d like to extend this family, personalized approach to you.
