I often find myself channeling my inner child on our Disney trips. This past trip, I had to drive an ECV due to an injury. I found myself looking at the sky, getting ran over, and not engaged with my phone. This was THE trip that I was going to redeem myself. I was going to get pictures of myself & whole family together. But then I realized, I was just having fun and it's okay to be a kid again. We rested. We watched the fireworks from our hotel. We ordered room service because we wanted to lay in bed. We didn't even have many desserts...

I enjoyed this trip so much more than many other trips because I had solid family & rest time. That's what we needed. We are in a stage of our life right now where family time is VERY important to us as we are going through some transitions.

Maybe Disney isn't your getaway right now. Where is somewhere you are thinking about going? Cruise Line? All-Inclusive Resort?
