Typically Peru is known for Machu Picchu, but there's so much more to the country than just the lost city. Peru is also home to Lake Titicaca, the largest lake in South America and highest navigable lake in the world. On the lake, you'll find small "floating islands" made by the Uru people. It's so interesting to learn more about how they build the islands and their way of living on the lake. If you need another reason to visit Peru, take this as your sign!
