3 Holiday Dining Experiences Coming to Disneyland Resort Hotels

First up, we’re jingling all the way over to Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa with Holiday Tea with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Hearthstone Lounge. On select days from Dec. 3 through Dec. 24, 2024, guests will be able to join none other than Santa and Mrs. Claus for a special tea party. This elevated holiday experience features a variety of premium loose-leaf teas, the finest tea sandwiches, and delicately prepared treats to put guests in the spirit of the season. Some of the holly highlights include a caprese salad, shrimp salad, prime Holstein tea sandwiches, truffled Christmas egg, and scones.

We don’t need to venture far for our next stop on this holiday foodie adventure. This holiday season, Storytellers Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will host Mickey and his pals in their festive and coziest fashion for Mickey’s Holiday Pajama Party Breakfast and Brunch. From Nov. 19 through Jan. 1, 2025, the gang will be welcoming guests to their pajama party as they feast upon the delicious offerings, including some seasonally themed bites, amid yuletide décor around the dining room. Guests should bring their appetite, and we’ll bring the holiday cheer.

Last, but certainly not least, we’re heading over to the Disneyland Hotel where there’s even more merry moments to be had at Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates the Holidays. Goofy and his friends have busted out their merry best to welcome guests to this holly, jolly dining experience from Nov. 19 through Jan. 2, 2025. As they greet everyone throughout the dining room, guests will be able to treat themselves to a selection of delicious bites, including some limited-time holiday delights. Whether joining for breakfast, brunch, or dinner service, Goofy and the team will be bringing the season’s greetings all day long.

EPCOT Holiday Traditions and Candlelight Processional Narrators Announced!

Guests can stroll around World Showcase where seasonal legends and stories come alive with Holiday Storytellers. They can meet the mischievous Barn Santa in the Norway pavilion for a great laugh or listen to the tale of La Befana in Italy, the kind-hearted witch who visits on the Eve of the Epiphany; take in the wonders of Lunar New Year with a Chinese Lion Dance viewing or discover the traditions of Hanukkah located between Morocco and France. Every culture has its special way of celebrating the holidays, and there’s no better place than EPCOT to experience the magic of it all!

Jam at JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season in an All-New Location
Guests can experience the joy of Christmas in the uplifting Gospel, R&B, and holiday songs of JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season. Guests will join the choir as they harmonize for the holidays in their new location at CommuniCore Plaza. This unique celebration happens only four times a day, so guests can’t miss their chance to catch a glimpse of the holiday cheer they bring.

For many guests, the Candlelight Processional is a must-do tradition each year. The beloved show tells the story of Christmas through a stunning performance, featuring a celebrity narrator, a mass choir of Disney cast members and young singers from the community, a 50-piece orchestra, herald trumpets, and the incredible Voices of Liberty. Disney Parks to Pilot New Option Called Lightning Lane Premier Pass
Lighting Lane Premier Pass allows one-time entry to each lighting lane experience in a theme park - to enjoy at your leisure that day!

At Disneyland Resort, the Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be available first come, first served beginning two days in advance of a theme park reservation and will be valid for use in both theme parks. The first date it will be available is October 23, 2024.

At Walt Disney World, when Lightning Lane Premier Pass launches, it will be available to guests staying at Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resorts and may be purchased up to seven days in advance of their stay. It will only be valid for use in one park of the guest’s choice per day. The first date it will be available is October 30, 2024.

It’s time to get excited, because guests can now begin planning their early 2025 Disneyland Resort visit with the return of the kids’ special ticket offer and deals on hotels! For a limited time in early 2025, children ages 3 through 9 can visit a Disneyland Resort theme park for as low as $50 per child with this 1-Day, 1-Park ticket.

In addition to the kids’ ticket offer, don’t forget to check the theme park reservation calendar for select days priced at $104 per day, so the adults in the group can save on their visit too.

We’re grateful Walt Disney World weathered the storm, and we are currently assessing the impacts to our property to prepare for reopening the theme parks, Disney Springs and possibly other areas today, Oct. 11. Our hearts are with our fellow Floridians who were impacted by this storm.

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and the Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will temporarily close beginning at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 9. They are likely to remain closed until Sunday, October 13. Please continue to check back for updates on the reopening timeline.

Walt Disney World Transportation is temporarily unavailable.
Minnie Van service is temporarily unavailable.

Effective immediately, we will not enforce cancellation policies until further notice for dining and other experiences.
Prepaid bookable experiences will be automatically refunded within 7 to 10 business days.

A brand-new lounge themed to the 1970 Walt Disney Animation Studios classic, “The Aristocats” is marked to open onboard the Disney Treasure when it sets sail this December. Named for everyone’s favorite music-loving feline from the film, S**t Cat Lounge will bring the groovy penthouse performance of “Ev’rybody Wants to be a Cat” into the real world for the first time. Plans for the venue combine the elegance of an old-school jazz club with artistic references to “The Aristocats”. 🐱
