Bodhi Tree Enneagram Center offers a series of dynamic face-to-face workshops, online courses, and individualized therapy with the purpose of helping people transcend their enneagram fixations.
The enneagram is a tool that helps us recognize underlying patterns that influence the way we and the people in our lives have been feeling and behaving. Building this awareness increases our compassion for ourselves and others. Lissa Friedman, PhD has been studying the Enneagram since 1988, initially with the Arica School, which was established by the founder of the Enneagram - Oscar Ichazo. Lissa left the Arica School in the 1990s and began to study with several other teachers and experientially through her private practice work with clients. In 2001, Lissa developed a three part workshop and spent the next decade teaching the Enneagram. Her knowledge of the Enneagram continues to deepen through her teachings. Since 2001, she has published five articles in the Enneagram Monthly, presented at four International Enneagram Conferences, and published a DVD series of interviews with people of each type. Lissa's daughter, Tammy Hendrix, LCSW has been studying the enneagram for the last 10 years. She uses the enneagram in her psychotherapy private practice (tammyhendrix.com) with individuals, couples, families and groups.
