Scott began practicing yoga in 1994 with Bill Atkins in NYC at American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He then went on to practice with multiple teachers around Vermont. During his 16 year competitive freestyle snowboard coaching career, he taught yoga to athletes he trained at various snowboard academy’s he coached through out Vermont, as well as summer training camps and at the Olympic Training Cent
er water ramp camps in Lake Placid, NY. Scott has been truly inspired by and spent time training with Seane Corn, Hala Khouri, and Susan Sterling of the Off the Mat into the World organization. Scott attended OTM’s Yoga Leadership training at Omega Institute in NY, and had the honor of attending Yoga Journal live/OTM’s Game Changer’s conference in Estees Park, Co. Scott has received his 200hr YTT from Shaelah Morris at Yoga Studio Tahoe in Truckee, Ca. During his journey Scott has had the privilege to practice with, attend workshops and be influenced by world renown teachers such as Rod Stryker, Sean Corn, Janet Stone, MC Yogi, Eion Finn, Christopher Hareesh Wallis, Dr. Manoj Chalam, Shiva Rhea, Gurmukh and many others. Scott feels called to share what he has learned on his journey through Yoga, life, snowboarding and music. He is passionate about sharing these gifts in order to make this world a better place, spreading love and connecting on a deeper level.
