We just returned from an AMAZING 8 days at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida! I will be recapping all the highlights for your enjoyment! It is absolutely wonderful to see all the holiday decorations this time of year!!

Day 1: Travel and Magic Kingdom

Our flight left bright and early at 6am! Since we were traveling with great friends we decided to rent a limo bus to take us to the airport!!! The kids were in love!! We arrived later that day at the Polynesian Village Resort, my favorite!! We did a little napping and headed to the Magic Kingdom for some extra Magic hours that were offered for deluxe resort guests! The park was empty and it was great!!

Spring Break Road Trip! Follow along for some fun updates!!

Day 4 - Islands of Adventure

Today was another early one - we were up and out of the room by 5:45am...... yes you read that right! We were not as lucky and did not get first in line today! Went to the park open we headed straight for the Hagrid roller coaster! This is a must do for any roller coaster fan however if you don’t get there early it is very hard to get a virtual line pass! This is literally the reason we moved our reservation to a Universal Studios property instead of staying offsite! The roller coaster did not disappoint and was amazing! We did a little exploring around Hogsmeade and then headed to Dr. Seuss Land!

Luca was most excited about this area and kept asking if he could go on the thingamajiger LOL! Lots of fun stuff to do in this area for a little ones that the adults can join in too! We even had lunch in a restaurant called Circus McGurkis and the boys loved it!

After an afternoon break at the hotel we headed back into the parks and had dinner at the three broomsticks… Delicious as always! We spent the evening exploring the park and riding some fun things, and even got to see the water and fireworks show that evening. The boys found a favorite new ride which was the hippogriff roller coaster in the Harry Potter area! They rode it multiple times! It was a great end to our days in the park!

Spring Break Road Trip! Follow along for some fun updates!!

Day 3 - Universal Studios

Today was an early one - we were up and out of the room by 5:45am...... yes you read that right! With it being spring break the parks are hitting capacity so it was very important to take advantage of the extra HOUR you get in the parks when staying on property! We actually ended up being in the front of one of the lines! Everybody wants to do the Harry Potter area.... and so did we!!

We headed back there and had fun, had lunch at the Leaky Cauldron (YUM!) and Jackson got his very own wand!! It was a busy day but overall very fun! We even had plenty of time to take an afternoon break!

Spring Break Road Trip! Follow along for some fun updates!!

Stop 2 - Orlando

Today consisted of driving from Atlanta to Orlando with 2 young children. For the most part it was great..... hint: bring lots of entertainment and some treats to make the trip better! We made a stop at the Florida welcome center! Make to you swing by for your FREE orange juice! All was good when they slept the last 2 hours of the drive!

We checked into our hotel next. We stayed at Universal’s Endless Summer Dockside Inn and Suites. Last minute we chose to stay on property.... more on that tomorrow! The room was nice and clean! Perfect for a few nights!

Next, we took a short drive to Disney Springs.... my idea of course!! We had a wonderful dinner at Boathouse and, of course, did some shopping!

We headed back to the hotel for a good rest because the next morning was going to be an EARLY one!!!

Spring Break Road Trip! Follow along for some fun updates!!

Stop 1 - The ATL!

Short visit with family with some fun mixed in! Experienced LegoLand Discovery Center which the boys found fun but I’m not sure it was worth the price tag. The Georgia Aquarium was next - always a great time as it is the largest aquarium in the US!! Masks were required at both places and I saw people sanitizing things regularly!

Now onto Florida!
