Headed to Disney World and wondering what to do on arrival day? Don’t worry, there’s plenty to keep you busy right on property!
Here are 3️⃣ great ideas you can try *inside* the 🫧Disney Bubble 🫧
1️⃣ Visit Disney Springs! Walt Disney World’s shopping district has tons of shops and restaurants to get all your souvenirs and snacks! We love to visit the LEGO store and the M&M store!
2️⃣ Grab a reservation at one of the many amazing sit down restaurants in one of the resorts. You can even find character dining experiences at Chef Mickeys, Cape May and 1900 Park Fare. You can also grab something at any quick service restaurant at any resort (no reservation needed).
3️⃣ Hop on the Skyliner! It’s my family’s favorite ride 😂 But seriously it’s fast fun transportation that can get you to several great restaurants or shopping at the resorts along the way! Plus if you ride at night you might just catch some fireworks 🎇 😉
So there you have it! 3 ways you can spend your arrival day right on Disney property.

Cruising is one of my family’s favorite way to travel (second only to Disney World)
Here’s my top 5 must pack items:
1️⃣ Medications! 💊 Of course you need to bring your daily medications or vitamins, but also consider bringing your most common over the counter medication as well. Medicines on cruise ships are expensive! You don’t want to be stuck paying ship pricing for something like Tylenol or Cough medicine.
2️⃣ Poo-Pourri 🧻 It may sound silly but that stuff actually does help, especially in those *small* spaces like a cruise ship cabin bathroom. 🚽
3️⃣ Magnetic Hooks 🧲 Did you know that Most cruise ship walls doors and ceilings are magnetic? We like to use a hook on the cabin door to hang a decoration so we can spot our cabin easily.
4️⃣ Straws 🍹 Many places have changed to paper or “candy” straws these days. I personally don’t care for either of those so I prefer to bring my own straws instead.
5️⃣ Ducks! 🐥 Rubber ducks known as “Cruising ducks” have become a tradition on almost all cruise lines and we love to participate! We bring plenty of ducks to hide ourselves but we spend a few afternoons and evenings hunting as well. Both are fun for our family! We also love to gift them to the amazing crew members sometimes. We love this tradition and it’s something the whole family looks forward to.
What is your must have item for cruising? Let me know in the comments!

Did you know this about cruise ships?
Cruise ship walls are magnetic (most of the time- we have heard of some ships having different walls so check your specific ship before you leave!)
You can get magnetic hooks from Amazon or even wal mart. Make sure you get the stronger ones that can hold some weight so they don’t just slide down the wall!
My absolute favorite hack is to hang something on our cabin door using one of our hooks. On our last trip in March we grabbed a gnome decoration from the dollar tree to use! We could see our cabin from all the way down the hall 😂
What’s your favorite use for magnet hooks?
I don't know who needs to hear this but...
You don't have to win the super bowl to go to Disney!
