This new design originated from the Chairman of the Board piece created last year. While I traveled around the world with Dad, we settled near the "shore," which was actually the Gulf, and from there, life became somewhat simple, including trips to the beach, the lagoons, lakes, and the bay.

Once you grow up by the water, it never leaves you; salt and sand run in your DNA, along with the urge to create art that reflects that, as well as my other passion: bringing joy through conversations and, yes, art.

Creating personalities for business is my mantra. As someone who has focused on this endeavor for over 50 years, I can confidently say I've explored a wide range of clients, concepts, creations, and delivery methods.

Logos don't just happen; they are created, sometimes without any premonition, sparked by a cosmic influence that motivates you to step beyond your own capacity and take that first step into the cosmos.

Many logos go through a life cycle from conceptualization to birth and then, of course, to publication and distribution. Yes, there are templates out there, and anyone can use these to create logos for clients willing to pay, often leading to the same designs being used repeatedly.

Sometimes you don't get a home run, but you might get a base hit, perhaps a foul at first or a strike. I've been at the plate many times and swung at pitches I knew instinctively were out of reach... then there are times you connect squarely, mightily, and the flight of that ball exceeds the grandstands, yet we all can't hit home runs each time at bat...

This was one of those times, despite the revisions, when we finally came home safe and sound, without a tag on the plate.

Score another run and a win for the client, after all it's not about me; it's about their satisfaction...
