We receive many inquiries about Night Nursing here at Moms on Call. While we do not offer those services, there is an Atlanta-based company that we LOVE that we would love to highlight. We had a great opportunity to sit down with Ansley Melton of Rest Assured Infant Nursing, and here was what she had to say about the unique services that her company offers:
Tell Us About Rest Assured:
Guy and I are both NICU nurses, and we began working in the NICU at Piedmont hospital right after we graduated in 2004. We saw a tremendous need for families who wanted to continue care beyond the hospital. There are so many families in Atlanta who are transplanted from other cities that don’t have the traditional help and support from family. We knew there was an opportunity to serve these families by matching them with a compassionate, caring, licensed expert to help them care for the newest member of their family. We launched Rest Assured Infant Nursing in Atlanta in 2010, and have recently expanded to Charlotte and Nashville.
Tell Us About Your Services and What You Offer:
We offer families registered nurses that can take care of your little ones at night so you can get some extra rest. We are firm believers in supporting our families in whatever way they choose to parent. We can help get babies on a schedule, help with breast feeding or bottle feeding support, and offer families the peace of mind and extra rest they need.
What is Your Favorite Part of Night Nursing:
Simply put- we love helping families. Many times parents will call us when they’re exhausted, and we love helping to grow their confidence in caring for their babies. We always love to hear how our nurses become a part of their families, and it is our joy to watch those we serve grow into strong, confident, and well-rested parents.
