Who is behind Willow & Fig?

Reacia was born and raised in Sugarland, Texas and currently resides in Rosenberg, Texas with her husband of 15 years and her 2 kiddos. For 10 years, Reacia was a pediatric dental assistant in Sugarland. She previously had a Tee shirt business, RK Designs, which then merged into her love of clothing and shopping to form her online boutique, Faith in Style Designs. This has always been a dream of hers to have her own business and to do it with her best friend is a huge plus! “I love shopping so why not help people do what I love. I want everyone that shops with us to know that we want to help them and leave them feeling like they have made new friends and a good shopping home “ -RK Melissa was born and raised in Indiana, just outside Chicago. She has a B.S. in Interior design from Indiana University, also where she met her husband of 15 years. She went on to practice corporate interiors for 10 years, while living in Atlanta, Ga. Her husbands job relocated them to Pittsburgh in 2010 and then landed in her current city Sugarland, Texas in May of 2012. She has 3 kiddos and a slew of pets. She loves all things design, color, texture & pattern.

This venture has been several years in the making. In March of 2014, Reacia and Melissa met through a mom’s event. Their friendship was definitely God’s plan because not another soul showed up for the event. That was the start of this wonderful friendship and nearly 5 years later, here they are, becoming business partners. Prior to having children, they both had successful careers and now that their littlest are older, they want to create a space that allows them to explore their passions while helping others to bring their syles to life. Both ladies are passionate about shopping, creativity, design and clothing. We want to bring to you, our valued friends, families and new acquaintance’s a place for you to shop, to find clothes, accessories, home décor and gifts you love, a place where your personal style can come to life, and so Willow & Fig was born.
