Thank you, as always, for your outstanding support in selling Jamaica. We understand you may have clients with questions regarding the Tropical Disturbance experienced in Jamaica on July 3, 2024. Therefore, we would like to advise you of the following:

How will this impact my groups traveling to Jamaica?

On Wednesday, July 3, 2024, Hurricane Beryl moved past Jamaica. Jamaica‘s tourism sector was well-prepared for the storm and all staff and guests remained safe. Ian Fleming International Airport in Ocho Rios is currently open, Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay will re-open at 6 p.m. this evening, July 4, and Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston will re-open at 5 a.m. tomorrow, July 5. Jamaica’s cruise ports in Montego Bay, Ocho Rios and Falmouth are also open. are also open.

All precautions and necessary protocols from the national level have been activated.

The safety and well-being of Jamaica’s citizens and visitors continues to be of paramount importance. Visitors are advised to contact their travel advisor, accommodation, and airline providers for updates on the storm’s impact on transportation and accommodations.

The key issue is TEMPERATURE. Engine combustion chambers combust unevenly, some areas do not reach the minimum ignition temperatures. The results: some fuel molecules only being partially burned, or not at all. This creates carbon build up and higher exhaust emissions.

Without our fuel tabs, the carbon-based molecules in diesel, gasoline, and other fossil fuels ignite at approximately 600 degrees and burn to about 1200 degrees. As a catalyst and a burn rate modifier, our fuel tabs lower the energy of the activation burn rate for fuel Ignition. This allows fuel to ignite at temperatures closer to 200 degrees as opposed to 600.
