Pardon My Travel Recognizes Community Leader
Pardon My Travel, LLC recognizes Tamara Allen for her role as a community leader and an active volunteer in The City of Tuskegee, Alabama. Tamara’s leadership is always demonstrated in a variety of ways, through both formal and informal roles.
The Owner of Pardon My Travel, Portia Dionne, and Tamara are high school classmates. Portia recognized Tamara’s always willing attitude, dependability, and smiling face whenever she volunteered or was asked to take on a task. Portia teamed with fellow classmate, LeeAnn Offen, and the MeKj Hope Foundation, Inc. to surprise Tamara with a virtual recognition. With the assistance of Tamara’s daughter, the surprise was a success.
Tamara and her family received a full-complimentary weekend getaway to the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, TN. When asked about her recognition, Tamara responded with, “I have never been this speechless in my life. I love serving the community. I simply do it because I love it. I cannot say thank you enough. Thank you, thank you!”
