In addition to our existing 40 ft. LNG ISO product line, our team in Asia Pacific has recently delivered their first 20 ft. ISO container – a significant addition to our product portfolio, designed and manufactured from Chart’s Sri City, India production site. Our new 20 ft. ISO containers have approvals including IMDG, ADR, CSC, RID, US DOT, TC, IMO, PESO, NSW Australia & ASME U-Stamp for the liquid services of LIN/LOX/LAR/LCO2 and LN2O. All approvals have been ascertained by LRQA UK and LRQA India.

This year we have 32 interns, 25% of which are returning, who will be spread across 12 different Chart sites. Our interns represent 21 different universities and 18 majors.

A commonly applied method of cylinder lubrication on reciprocating compressors is the pump-to-point system, where a sizable lubrication reservoir is installed with multiple oil pumps, each directed to specific lubrication points on the compressor. However, over time, this system can suffer from diminishing lubrication performance.

A superior alternative lies in the divider block style system. We’re proud to partner with BNG Clean Fuel, a private company focused on delivering scalable infrastructure solutions for the storage and dispensing of hydrogen fuel to the Class 7 and 8 trucking industry, through supplying a liquid-to-gas hydrogen fuel station and associated equipment to support their build out of a series of "hub, spoke and wheel model" facilities with hydrogen production, virtual pipeline networks, bulk cargo shipping, and fuel dispensing stations. BNG is currently involved in the development of several regional multi-station pilot hubs in the United States to help accelerate investment and buildout according to the Paris Agreement of Net-Zero Carbon 2050.

Today we spotlight Bruce Keneagy, Tech Service Manager for LNG Vehicle Tanks, based out of our Ball Ground, Georgia (USA) facility. Bruce has been with Chart for 22 years and is a critical part of our team, with support for aftermarket, tech service parts, warranty, troubleshooting, training, tank repairs, customer stocking lists, tooling, etc!

As Bruce shares, “Experience doesn’t truly become a valuable experience until you can pass it along. That’s what I truly love about my job – being able to help other technicians quickly diagnose and successfully repair our equipment.”

Today, as we continue our series highlighting our great technical service team members, we’re excited to spotlight Artie Vartani, Field Service Manager, Alternative Fuel Systems based in California (USA). Artie began his career at Chart repairing CNG, LCNG, and LNG equipment as well as supporting our engineering team’s new product development and troubleshooting efforts. Now, Artie is utilizing his skillsets to repair and troubleshoot liquid hydrogen trailers while supporting us in commissioning, maintaining, and repairing hydrogen fueling stations.
