Have you taken care of this critical maintenance issue?

Will it be you or will it be us?

Somebody is going to be under the hood of your car.

It can be us, in the convenience of the shop or it can be you, stuck on the side of the road waiting on the tow truck. Neither of us wants that, do we? Especially if it is your mom, wife, or daughter in that situation.

With temperatures dropping below freezing (brrrr!) several nights this week, and several more this month, it's essential to make sure your antifreeze is fresh and full, and that your hoses are in good shape.

We know someone who was mysteriously losing coolant; it turns out the cap on the expansion tank was failing at half of its rated pressure allowing fluid to slowly dissipate.

Run by the shop and we'll do a thorough flush and fill so you know you'll be good all winter long and avoid the uncertainty that comes with not knowing if you're at risk.

It's also the best way to avoid expensive engine damage that can occur when the temperature drops below 32°.

And since we get more rain in the winter months (again, this week is a good example) we can check your wipers to make sure you have clear, unimpeded vision while you're behind the wheel.

In an effort to help more local businesses navigate the changing environment due to COVID19, we're launching a local directory highlighting restaurants providing delivery and takeout services.

We'll also be spotlighting other businesses providing essential services that are open and expand to cover even more as things begin returning to normal.

We've rebranded to reflect this new focus. We were previously Shop Small Shop Local - Chamblee & Doraville and we've shifted to be more inclusive of businesses in other nearby communities. We are now Shop My Local Biz.

Our new directory site should be up and running on Monday, April 20! This community resource will grow best with your help so be ready to add your own business, as well as share it with others, especially business owners that you know.
